How breathtaking was the cauldron sculpture created for the olympic flame. THOMAS HEATHERWICK is a maker extraordinaire. I loved the thought that went into every aspect of the process, that each element was beautiful separately and as the whole. I was so delighted that it combined age old craft with a contemporary aesthetic of the future. Was I impressed? Hell yeah!
