In Burkino Faso, West Africa, there is a town called Tiebélé, home of the royal court, 'Cour Royale', of the Kassena people. I am beside myself with excitement at the patterns on the walls of every surface within the 1.2 km compound. Contemporary product design on buildings of a culture that first settled here in the 15th century. Woo hoo!
