Took my little to see Mirror Mirror yesterday for some girl time. Oh my hat, the costumes and the sets, hardly tasted my chocolate almonds! Wanted to post about it today and in doing my research discovered that the costume designer was responsible for some of my most favourite movie clothing of all time, The Cell and Bram Stokers Dracula. Sadly the beautiful and incredibly talented Eiko Ishioka passed away on the 21st January 2012, she leaves behind an immense creative legacy. Remember her.

ReplyDeleteOoh ok, I must check out her other stuff. The Cell has remained one of my favourites despite J-Lo. I'm planning on making a hat for Ascot this year- so loving those ships...
